MENOPAUSE IN THE WORKPLACE:

As a coach suppor琀椀ng
individuals in the workplace
every day, I’ve seen 昀椀rsthand the
challenges many women face
in their careers. As someone
who has journeyed through
menopause myself, I know
just how o昀琀en this life stage
is overlooked in professional
se琀�ngs. The reality is that
countless women between the
ages of 48 and 60 are naviga琀椀ng
perimenopause, menopause, or
post-menopause without even
realising it!
For many, the signs: brain
fog, fatigue, mood swings,
hot flushes, or changes in
sleep patterns, are
dismissed as stress, ageing,
or just the result of busy
lives. I, too, had no idea I
was post-menopausal until a
DEXA scan for a gym injury
revealed it. And while that’s
a whole other story (one
that involves the power of
our pelvic floor - perhaps
for another article!), the key
takeaway is this: menopause
is real, it’s happening to
millions of women in the
workplace, and we need to
talk about it.

personal journey; it’s a

and overall wellbeing.
